Write a post
Posts on insteady are topic-based and stay findable over time.
Create a post
- Click Write in the navigation and select Post.
- Choose a post type (see below).
- Write your content - optionally with a title.
- Select at least one topic (up to five) to categorize the post.
- Click Publish.
Post types
- Story - Personal experiences or moments from your professional life
- How-to - Step-by-step guides and practical instructions
- Opinion - Your perspective on a topic in your field
- Case study - A detailed analysis of a real project or situation
- Question - Ask something to the community
- Achievement - Share a professional milestone or success
- Looking for - Make visible what you are currently looking for
- Event - Point to a date or event
Attachments
You can add to a post:
- Up to 20 images
- 1 video
- Up to 3 documents
- Up to 3 audio files
- A poll
Markdown
The editor supports Markdown formatting. Click Preview to check the result before publishing.
Schedule a post
Click Schedule to set a future publication date and time. Scheduled posts are listed in your profile under the Scheduled tab.
Longer articles
For longer, structured pieces, select Article under Write in the navigation. Articles have their own editor.
Edit or delete a post
You can edit or delete a published post. Open the post and choose Edit or Delete.
