Create a group chat

A group chat lets you communicate with multiple people at once.

Create a new group chat

1. Open the Messages section.
2. Click New group.
3. Enter a group name.
4. Select members from your connections.
5. Click Create group.

Add members

Only the creator of a group chat can add more people. Open the chat Options and select Add member.

Leave the group

Open the chat Options and click Leave group. You will no longer receive messages from that chat.

Encryption

Group chats use a sender key scheme. Messages are end-to-end encrypted and readable only by chat members.
