Send a message

You can send direct messages to other members. All direct messages are end-to-end encrypted.

Start a new conversation

1. Click Messages in the navigation.
2. Click New conversation.
3. Search for the member you want to write to.
4. Write your message and send it.

From a profile

You can also start a message directly from someone's profile. Click Send message there.

Encryption

Your messages are end-to-end encrypted. Only you and the other person can read them - insteady has no access to the content.

Delete messages

You can delete your own messages. A deleted message is hidden for you. It stays visible to the other person until they delete it too.
