Manage connections
Connections on insteady are mutual and require confirmation from both parties.
Send a connection request
- Open someone's profile.
- Click Connect.
- The person receives a notification and can accept or decline.
Manage connection requests
Go to Connections in the navigation. There you will find three tabs:
- Connections - All confirmed connections
- Received - Pending requests you have received
- Sent - Requests you have sent that are still pending
Click Accept or Decline to respond to a request.
Withdraw a request
Under the Sent tab, you can withdraw a pending request by clicking Withdraw request.
Remove a connection
Go to Connections and click Remove connection next to someone. The other person is not notified.
What connections are useful for
- When a connection is confirmed, you automatically follow each other.
- You can select connected members when creating a group chat.
- Connections can message you directly, without sending a message request first.
