scan.insteady.net checks DNS, hosting, and email infrastructure for any domain - no signup, no HTML rendering, no HTTP request to the site itself. Just public DNS/WHOIS records, in seconds.
We built it because "trust us, we're GDPR-compliant" isn't good enough on this topic. So the whole thing is open source (EUPL-1.2, Codeberg) - scoring formula, provider database, every classification decision.
The more interesting part: we ran it on ourselves and found two real mistakes in our own scoring logic that made insteady.net look better than the raw data supported. Both documented and fixed in the public repo.
Try your own domain, read the methodology, or open an issue if something looks wrong: scan.insteady.net
Curious what you find.
